Customer Profile-Fairchild Excavating of Erie, Pa.
Fairchild Excavating works this Volvo ECO160CLC Excavator. This unit has 24" triple grouser track pads, a Volvo D6E EBE3 diesel engine, 17'1" boom, 8'6" arm, 7,060 lb counterweight, auxillary hydraulics, dual roller track guard and pilot control change valve.
Jim Ritchie of Fairchild Excavating says the Volvo ECO160CLC Excavator is very smooth and quiet. Also, compared to their previous excavator they owned of the same size, the Volvo uses a quarter tank of fuel in the same work day as opposed to a half tank used by the former.
